Becoming a B Corporation

Becoming a B Corporation

This November we have been delighted to announce that we have achieved certification as a registered B Corporation.   B Corporations (or B Corps) are a growing group of companies who are reinventing business, pursuing purpose as well as profit and meeting rigorous social and environmental standards which represent our commitment to goals beyond that of profit.

When we discovered the B Lab and B Impact Assessment we immediately knew this was a community of businesses and change makers we wanted Green&Blue to be part of. The certification process is rigorous and gave us a framework to really examine every area of our business and impact. We now know where we're doing really well but, more importantly, we have a roadmap for the areas where we know we can do more and we can use this as we grow.

We're really happy to be joining a growing community of over 2600 businesses globally, with over 175 in the UK, including well known brands like innocent, Patagonia, Pukka Herbs, Ella's Kitchen, Divine, and JoJo Maman Bebe.

We have become only the fourth B Corp in Cornwall, joining Finisterre, Leap Media and Resonance.

About B Lab UK

B Lab UK is a non-profit established in 2015 to serve a growing community of 175 UK-based companies using business as a force for good. B Lab measures and verifies companies' environmental and social performance using the B Impact Assessment, and ensures rigorous standards are met by all UK B Corps. Together with B Lab teams from around the world, they link a global network of socially and environmentally responsible businesses and promote positive, action-led change towards a new approach to business. http://bcorporation.uk/
