We are bringing our love of biodiversity to the design red carpet!
We’re delighted to announce that our co-founder, Gavin Christman has been selected to be one of the judges for the Dezeen Awards 2022.
The Dezeen Sustainability Awards category is an annual opportunity to award projects that make a positive environmental and social contribution across three sustainability categories to celebrate the best sustainable buildings, interiors and design projects from around the world.
Gavin will join a jury of six other design industry experts who work across the fields of architecture, textiles, craft, interiors and furniture. Together, their aims are to create more sustainable practice in design, which compliments Green&Blue’s mission to make homes havens for wildlife and to reconnect people with the natural world. The team is headed by sustainable design expert, Katie Tregidden from Dezeen.
Gavin says ”I’m thrilled to be asked to help judge the awards. Never has biodiversity, sustainability and our natural world been more important and I am looking forward to seeing the range of creative innovation that focuses on how we can live alongside the planet in harmony, whilst continuing to create design that inspires and delights people.”
Green&Blue’s products represent simplicity of design and we focus on making sure our products consider the needs of the wildlife that we are here to encourage and support. By having Gavin on the judging team we hope that our contribution to the wider message of sustainability and biodiversity is another building brick towards a positive future for our planet.
