Hands up if you're ready for the 2022 Big Garden Birdwatch?
This brilliant celebration of our garden birds is organised by the RSPB and is a fun and free way to get wowed by your local wildlife. So whether you're a beginner, an expert or somewhere in the middle, get involved and get ready to count the birds!
All you have to do is pledge an hour between 28 and 30 January 2022 and simply sit, ideally with a cuppa, and count the birds you see in your garden, your balcony or from a bench in the park. Over a million people took part last year and the count really helps conservation charities like the RSPB build up a picture of how our birds are faring, and you get to spend an hour in nature - what's not to love.
You can sign up over on the RSPB website as they have lots of great materials to support your count, and if you're counting birds on your Green&Blue birdfeeder then please don't hesitate to send us some shots - there is nothing we love more!!
