Bees for Development

Green&Blue are delighted to welcome Bees for Development as new stockists in 2018. A charity working to transform the lives of some of the world’s poorest people through beekeeping, Bees for Development recognise the incredible power of bees, how they provide livelihoods to some of the world’s most disadvantaged people and play an essential role in crop pollination for food production worldwide. For 25 years Bees for Development have helped thousands of people to keep bees sustainably and profitably - and yet there are still so many more in need of such help. Bees for Development offers help by providing free information and support to beekeepers in more than 130 countries, and by working directly with community projects currently underway in Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana and Uganda. You can support the work of Bees for Development in many different ways, from simply shopping in their online store here, visiting their shop in Monmouth, Wales, giving a donation, fundraising or even volunteering. And you can now find a selection of Green&Blue Bee Bricks, Bee Blocks and Beepot planters amongst the selection of bee themed gifts on offer. Working together to help all the bees.
