Small Business Saturday 100 announced
In a special article from the Guardian newspaper 100 of the UK's finest small businesses were announced as the companies that will be championed by Small Business Saturday this year.
Small Business Saturday is now in its fifth year and was created to encourage spending with small independent firms in the run-up to Christmas. In the run-up to the actual day, which is December 2nd this year, each of the chosen 100 businesses will have a special day where they will be championed on social media and they will be able to shout about what they do.
The digital team at Small Business Saturday say 'Each year, we look for businesses that represent the best in British business. We look for geographical spread from the north of Scotland, to the tip of Cornwall. We look for a range of business models, including high street and digital.'
Green&Blue are delighted to be on the list and their day to be championed is October 3rd. On this day look out for special offers via the companies website as well as a live Q&A with the team, answering your questions about birds, bees, Cornwall and running a small, innovative company. This will take place over on the Green&Blue facebook page. If you'd like to send us any questions ahead of this time then please do drop us a line.
