Timber frame and SIPs panels

The Green&Blue commercial range is designed to be fitted within traditional timber frame construction or SIP panel construction, as well as within brick and block.

Bat Block in timber cladding

Fitting within a traditional timber frame
A horizontal timber to support the brick is added to the vertical framing and provision for a pocket within the waterproof membrane added.
The finished cladding thickness will dictate the required opening size

For SIP panels
Cut through the outer OSB layer into the insulation, creating a pocket to insert the brick or block. The finished cladding thickness will dictate the required opening size.

Additional support may be required as may adhesive to secure the brick or block in place.

Before conducting any alteration to a timber frame, consult with the manufacturer and structural engineer responsible for the project.
