Win a Father's day gift | For garden loving dads

Fancy treating the father in your life this Father's day? (That's June 21st, 2020 for anyone who's lost all track of days and dates!!)

We're delighted to bring you a little competition, just in time for this years' Father's Day.

How to enter.

Simply tell us, in the comments below, about why the garden-loving dad in your life deserves a treat. It could be your dad, your husband, brother, cousin, uncle, we want to know who and why you think they might deserve a little gift.

We'll be reading your comments and choosing a worthy winner to receive a Bee Brick solitary bee house from the Green&Blue range in plenty of time for this year's Father's day.

And if you fancy more ways to win then we're running the same competition on our Facebook page and our Instagram account, and in partnership with a few of our favourite accounts over on IG too, we'll be sharing details of those in our stories!

Phew, so many ways to win! Good luck, we can't wait to read your nominations.

My dad has been self isolating now for 13wks, having received a letter. He lost mum a couple of years ago so has found this time extremely difficult and very lonely. Fortunately he has a small garden and with the weather being fantastic has done every job possible! Weeding, mowing, fixing and painting fences, patio cleaning and planting. He’s now run out of things to do. If I could give him this for Father’s Day he could have another project to keep him busy.

I would love for my son – Chris – to win one of these bricks. I have really missed being able to see him ( and my grandson, Leo) these past few weeks in Lockdown. But I know, as well as working from home, looking after Leo, etc, he is managing to keep his garden looking wonderful. He would really appreciate one of these. 🐝🌻🐝🐞🕷🌺

I would love my dad to win a little bee brick. He’s always busy in his garden, pottering about and every day fills his bird feeders up and sits and watches all the birds that visit. He loves nature and everything to do with it and passes all his knowledge on to my little boy. My dad is my absolute rock, he supports me no end with helping me with bringing my son up whilst I’m working. He is a fantastic role model for my son and I couldn’t ask for a better father.

My husband, father to six grown-up fabulous young people has fallen for solitary bee accommodation, watching the holes fill up with residents. A city kid at heart he has grown to love all aspects of wild life in our garden over our lives with the kids when they were small and at home, and more so now they have flown the nest. He loves the aesthetics and design of your solitary bee bricks and them in action !

This bee-house would honour my Dad, who passed away due to cancer.. however, this “beautiful house of bees” would symbolise hope, re-birth & positivity, and serve as a treasured memory-sake to my Dad … bringing good energy, not only from the bees!! but, mentally and spiritually too, and be a great comfort.
